Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. She has a mother who is English and her father Nigerian. She was raised in a council estate located south of London. In the ages of fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. She studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. As a student at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions, such as the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career began with Storm Damage. Over the past few years she has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following that she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the role in the role of Bambi in the ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in three and two series. Madekwe was a part of the Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Her theatre credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport for the ABC drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it came to an end. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. In May of 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe, who had been a series regular in the previous two seasons would be leaving the show after a guest-appearance in the premiere episode of the new season. From 2014 to the year 2016, she appeared on Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe married her long-time partner, Iddo. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also was a character on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. She was raised by both parents Roy and Patty as well as four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey in the winter as well as in the summer. Her childhood was spent in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley was not a walker, but she danced. When she was two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley was enthralled by dance immediately after that. Ashley participated in the top divisions of tap, jazz hip hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed high school. Top soloists at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
