Julia Ormond
Ormond was the daughter Josephine, a lab technician as well as John Ormond (a stockbroker) located in Epsom, Surrey. She is the second of five children to her parents. She went to private school, first Guildford High School and then Cranleigh School, where early stage performances like Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady began to draw attention. After a short time in arts college, she was enrolled to Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She graduated in 1988. Ormond made her debut appearance on British television's 1989 serial Traffik.
